This marinade works well on both chicken and salmon! Recipe below for 3-4 pounds of meat. Adjust accordingly for more.
Ingredients 1 cup crushed pineapple ⅓ cup soy sauce ⅓ cup Date Lady Pure Date Syrup 2 gloves minced fresh garlic ⅓cup finely chopped red onion *Fresh cilantro or mint for garnish
Instructions 1. Mix ingredients together well. Use 2/3 of the mixture to coat meat in shallow bowl or zip lock, reserving the other 1/3 for a finishing sauce. 2. Marinate 6-8 hours in refrigerator. 3. When meat is 1-2 minutes until completion on the grill, brush the top with remaining ⅓ of marinade as a finishing sauce.
Garnish with cilantro or mint. Enjoy!
